While I was trying to capture the last moments of beautiful outdoor weather I noticed something about the way I was skateboarding. I felt like I was using the width of my large skate shoes to control how the board was moving. Skate shoes are significantly different then the usual shoe.

You can see how much wider it is and I never noticed the significance of that design till now. I've always felt a difference when I skate with my casual shoes then when I skate with my skate shoes. A thinner design would cover smaller surface area on the skateboard and have minimum control over the the board, while my fat shoe design gives you much better grip, which means much better skating!
